How to unlock Android device by replacing eMCP with UFi box
If your phone is stuck on the brand logo, follow the steps below. Here, we provide an example guide for Meizu y15 (M3). The steps and processes of almost all models are the same.
Launch the UFi Android Toolbox. Get UFi Box from here. Go to the Device Processor tab. For example, if your device uses MediaTek chipset, please select MediaTek or Qualcomm for devices using Snapdragon chipset, and so on. >You will also get eMCP details, partition details and Android system information.
Before performing any operations, make sure to fully backup important content (such as preloaders and NV partitions) via the "Read" button. However, you may receive error notifications when backing up and restoring factory settings.
Try to delete everything except the bootloader. If you only delete eMCP user data, it will still give you an error. Therefore, eMCP needs to be replaced.
You can use eMCP SK Hynix with CID compatible with Preloader for MediaTek equipment. (Varies by device) Launch the UFi eMMC toolbox. Identify eMMC and Nand test. Go to the factory image and write the firmware directly to eMCP. It will also reconfigure the boot of the partition.
Click "Identify eMMC" again. Then go to the User Partition tab> Now, eMCP can be installed on the PCB.
After installing eMCP, you will need to refresh again via UFi Android Toolbox.
How to use the engineering firmware on the UFI Box for flashing
Download the firmware according to your device model, which can be found in the support. Click Flash to install the firmware.
After it is completely flashing, turn on the phone. Now, the device interface looks like ordinary Android.
How to rewrite the original IMEI number through meta mode (use UFI box to fix IMEI)
Use the engineering firmware to write the original IMEI to the device through meta mode. Go to Services>Select Device Details>Select IMEI Number>Click Write.
After the IMEI is displayed, you will need to reinstall the firmware on the device. As always, the firmware file will be provided in the "Support" option. Click Flash> select firmware and device details> check all files in the box (except the preloader). bin file. Click the Flash button.
Now you can write * # 06 # to check IMEI on the dial pad of the device.
